I have spent a lifetime in the established Church and have a son who is an ordained minister. That combined with having been a mediator for twenty-two years, I am well aware that there is a need for mediation in the churches. This is in no way a judgment but simply a realization of the human condition. We are still, as humans, learning how to be, and therefore, learning how to live with one another in a peaceful manner as Christ intended us to do. Ministers have their hands quite full with everyday affairs. And from what I have understood, welcome an outside, neutral party to come in and help with something that may arisen that has caused unrest in the church.
HOW I CAN HELP
I would come and assess the situation. Plan meetings with the groups after that. All situations are different, but hopefully be able to hold group sessions where all parties are present. The goal would be to discuss the issues and hopefully to arrive at a workable, mutually agreed upon resolution. This would take several days.
